The cutting edges of the blades are heat-treated to 57–59 HRC for a long tool life. The snips operate like scissors, with blades that smoothly bypass one another as they cut, but have a more robust construction ideal for cutting metal sheet. The ergonomic shape of the handles ensures hours of use without hand fatigue and the non-slip grips provide a secure hold.
